How To Get Help With Your Drinking Problem

If you want to drink, that’s your business. If you want to stop, that’s ours. Get in touch with our Help Response Service through our online form here, or if you prefer email as a means of contact then feel free to email us at help@alcoholics-anonymous.eu. We have a team of volunteers standing by who have experienced the problems that losing control of your drinking can bring and are more than willing to help. Or simply turn up at one of our many English-speaking AA meetings around Europe – click here to find one nearest you. When you arrive, let someone know that this is your first meeting, that way they will be able to provide you with information that most people new to AA find useful. If you can’t find a meeting near you, there are also English-speaking online AA meetings. Remember that there are no dues or fees for AA, and we don’t keep any records of who comes or who leaves. You are welcome to come along to a meeting and see what is being said, and we won’t bother you if you decide that you don’t want what we have to offer; so you have nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain. We also have an English-speaking 24-hour telephone helpline available on the UK telephone network, where you can talk to someone who has experience of the problems that alcohol abuse can cause and the solution that AA has to offer. Calling from within the UK: 0800 9177 650 Calling from outside of the UK: +44 800 9177 650
