The workshop will consist of 5 sessions (see agenda below).  The directions for all 12 Steps as outlined in the Big Book will be covered.  With the limited timeframe, going through the book page by page will not be possible; however, as Bill W said ” Our chief responsibility of A.A.’s is to give the newcomer an adequate presentation of the program of Alcoholics Anonymous”. This is exactly what is proposed in this study.
It is almost impossible to say at what time any specific step will be covered, except that Step One will take the whole time of the Session One. Â An outline schedule for the day is something like this:
4 sessions (each session 45-60 minutes with breaks possibly shortened to 15 minutes depending on progress through the work).
10:00-11:30 Â Session 1 (Step One)
12:00-13:00 Â Session 2
13:00-14:00 Â Lunch Break
14:00-15:00 Â Session 3
 15:30-16:30  Session 4
 17:00-17:30  Questions and Answers
Questions and answers are scheduled only after the final session because it has been found from experience that this is the most effective way to get important questions answered and progress through the book.Â
