How do I get access to the AA Filestore?

The AA Filestore is a service provided by Our General Service Office (GSO) in York and can be accessed by any officer, provided they have an AA Mail email address.

The AA Filestore is *not* an archive but is used to store all relevant documents for each assembly. It is highly recommended that Officers save important documents locally as the AA Filestore only backs up for the last 30 days.

Each member who wants to view and download assembly documents will need to request access to the Filestore well in advance of an assembly as it may take a while for the PI&ECSC (Public Information and Electronic Communications Sub Committee) to approve the request.

To request access to the Filestore follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://aafiles.org/register-new.do
  2. Type in your First Name, Last Initial of Surname and your AA Mail email address.
  3. Select “Read Only”.
  4. You will be asked to indicate the authorisation for access to the filestore. Please write in the big box that you wish to request access to: “CER Assembly Online Files Access” and you have been given authorisation by the CER Secretary.
  5. Click the “Request New User Access” button.

The ECSC will then reply in the next few days with your personal log-in details.

If you have any questions about this process please contact the CER Secretary.

Regards,

CER Secretary
