More Information

Please note that per Decision #75 in the Digest of Decisions it is the responsibility of all officers and delegates of the Region to participate in the regular business of the Region by attending all meetings during their term of office. This is especially the case for delegates, whose duty it is to transmit the group conscience of Region to Conference. When it is not possible for an officer or delegate of the Region to attend a meeting, the Chairperson or Secretary must be informed and a written report, where necessary, be provided for presentation at the meeting. Should an officer or delegate of the Region fail to attend two meeting in a row, without notifying the Chairperson or Secretary, the Chairperson should contact he representative to advise them of the concern of the Region regarding their commitment to the position they have accepted. In the event of the officer or delegate failing too attend the following meeting, the Region must assume that the person has no further interest in serving the Region in that function and shall hold elections to fill that position.
