Update from CER’s Conference Delegates – January 2022

Conference 2024

Conference 2024 is scheduled to happen face to face in York from Friday 12th April – Sunday 14th April 2024. As the delegate team we would like to seek feedback from the fellowship on the 2024 Conference questions which were published in the Winter 2023 edition of AA Service News. If you haven’t yet seen them you can find them here, along with background material:

Your delegates need you!

As always – your delegates to conference need you in order to go to conference informed of your experience with and feedback to the conference questions. We also need feedback on several new or revised literature items that will be discussed and potentially approved at conference. You can find those via the AAGB document library (see link above).

We welcome feedback from everyone including region representatives, GSRs and individual members. We would also like to encourage GSR to go back to your various groups and ask for feedback. The deadline for feedback is currently 31st March 2024

Overview of the General Service Conference

The General Service Conference of AA Great Britain and Continental Europe is the practical means by which the group conscience can express itself. Since 1966, the Conference meets annually, and face-to-face in the City of York, England.

There are many excellent documents and resources available to help members, groups, and intergroups  understand the Conference process both on the CER website https://alcoholics-anonymous.eu and the AA GB website https://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org.uk

Some specific links which may help are:
